The 10 R's of the Rapture Part 4 - Charles
10 The Reassurance ☆ 1 Thessalonians 4:18...
"Wherefore comfort one another with these words."
Two thousand and twenty plus years ago, the truth and the teaching of the Rapture was a comfort to the believers.
And... it's a comfort to us believers today... well it should be.
Our deceased loved ones won't miss this great reunion, in fact they will be first in line.
When that trumpet sounds we'll all find ourselves together in the clouds with Jesus, the Bridegroom, Who will then escort us, His Bride to Heaven.
The truth of the Rapture is a source of supernatural comfort and hope to all of God's people when a believing loved one or friend goes Home to be with the Lord.
These words have been read at millions of funerals throughout the centuries and have brought the comfort, the hope, and the encouragement of the Lord to broken, bereaved hearts.
Amen!!!
I want to repeat what I said at the start...
The Rapture is not escapism as some say or call it... it's a real event that will take place.
● The Rapture is a Scriptural truth... Scriptural teaching...
● The Rapture is a call to walk the walk and talk the talk of holiness... because Jesus can come at any time... we need to be ready.
● The Rapture is a call to urgent ministry to the unsaved... time is running out.
● The Rapture is a call to be excited that Jesus is coming again for His beloved Bride the Church.
☆ 1 John 2:28...
"And now, little children, abide in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His coming."
TLB
"And now, my little children, stay in happy fellowship with the Lord so that when He comes you will be sure that all is well and will not have to be ashamed and shrink back from meeting Him."
So... next important question...
Will you be there??
Will you be there at that meeting in the air in the sweet by and by?
No?
You can be...
You must be born again as Jesus commanded in John chapter 3.
Pray this simple prayer.
Lord Jesus, I realise I am a sinner and that I need You. Thank You for dying on the Cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Saviour and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me Eternal Life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. AMEN!
Selah!
